Setting a well-formed outcome

Try this very useful exercise whenever you are setting an objective:

1. What do you want? Make sure your outcome is stated in the positive!

2. When, where and with whom do you want this?

3. What will you hear, see and feel when you achieve this outcome?

4. Are you in charge of the changes you require?

5. Will you lose anything by achieving this outcome?

6. Is this outcome worth what it takes to get it? What are the consequences in your life if the goal is achieved?

7. What is the first action you must take to achieve this outcome?
